Picture Perfect Dark couverture Chunks

Picture Perfect

The title says it all. If this picture could talk, it would tell you the story of how meticulous, creative and passionate I am. I take pictures of everything that I make in my chocolate studio. I consider it a part of the chocolate making process. It creates an opportunity for me to capture and share with you. Art takes many forms. And photography is a form of art that I incorporate in our chocolates. Every picture on this site has been taken in our Chocolate Studio.

The picture capture here, was one of the first pictures I took when I decided to create a website, myself! So I grabbed my camera. Headed to the kitchen, randomly placed chunks of chocolate on the counter. Then I started snapping away. As I was getting trigger happy I started to visualize elements to bring the picture to life. I thought of cocoa powder, so I sprinkled some, but it didn’t give the effect I was hoping for. So I headed over to my drawer of exciting and interesting equipment and found my truffle forks, hmm I thought this could fit in somehow. And there it was, a perfect fit, for a perfect picture, filled with perfect decadent no added sugar Dark Belgian chocolate.

Bellissimo

Beautiful indeed! Another picture I absolutely love, among one of my firsts on Instagram. I had made a selection of chocolates for a farmers market and I was super eager to share with my followers on Instagram. In my excitement I grabbed my favourite Cake stand, and randomly placed chocolates on it. I played around with it trying to get the chocolates to look so perfectly imperfect. Once again my camera and photography skills did not let me down. This was a truly an exciting picture for me as it so flawlessly captures the shiny, beautiful gloss of the chocolates. A standard I continually aspire to achieve.

Taste bud explosion of Chia Seeds and Banting Granola

Taste Bud Explosion

An explosion of the taste buds is something that we all search for when sinking our teeth into something. We search for something savory or sweet that can satisfy the craving. Some of us are daring and without hesitation mix sweet, savory and spicy all at once.

As you may already know, I love taking photos of my chocolates and my creations. It makes me feel happy that I can almost capture a part of my passion in a picture and share it with the world. I tried to be creative when capturing these bars, and poured their fillings all over the bars for added effect. I was quite thrilled with the end result, the bars and the picture.

The taste of chia seeds with the slight bitterness of our dark chocolate gave my taste buds an exquisite feeling. It is an interesting combination of flavours. The granola with milk chocolate, sent my taste buds into euphoria. The mix of goji berries with tree nuts and seeds is sure to make one feel like they are eating breakfast in a chocolate bar. Hmm, a lovely way to start my day.
